Biodiversity BuildersSM (BB) Youth Environmental Education Program has been developing an extensive curriculum manual “Becoming an Eco-Hero: A guide to Restoring Biodiverse Ecosystems in Your Community,” as a way to expand the program throughout the state. This June (6/15 – 6/26), we are offering a two-week paid intensive training (aka Bootcamp) to teach 4 individuals how to use our Curriculum and bring it into their schools or organizations. Participants will receive stipends and need to commit for 40 hours over two weeks.

The immersive program will train educators how to guide youth through lessons and activities that build skills in, and reinforce understanding of, nature-based solutions to biodiversity loss and climate change. One participant in this program will be selected to lead the Biodiversity Builders 2026 six-week summer program. The summer program runs from Jul. 6 – Aug. 14.
