Carrie brings more than 18 years of experience in informal education to the MEES Board, dedicating her professional life to connecting audiences to the environment and wildlife.
She joined Mass Audubon’s South East Region as Community Engagement Coordinator in December 2021. Prior experience includes Curator of Education at the Buttonwood Park Zoo in New Bedford, MA (2014-2021) and School Program Manager at Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence, RI.
While in Rhode Island, Carrie acted as Treasurer for the Rhode Island Environmental Education Association (RIEEA) from 2007 to 2014. She graduated from Otterbein College with a B.S. in Life Sciences and earned a M. A. in Environmental Education from the University of New Mexico.
