
Join our team and build your environmental professional skills as a TerraCorps Youth Education Coordinator at Friends of Holly Hill Farm!
Friends of Holly Hill Farm (FHHF) will be hosting one TerraCorps service position as a Youth Education Coordinator (YEC)for the 2023-24 service term. As a Member, you would join up to 60 other members serving with nonprofit partner organizations across Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Service members are paired with a site supervisor who provides guidance and mentorship while they learn to manage community programs and projects to build capacity for FHHF.
TerraCorps is an AmeriCorps affiliated non-profit preparing and mobilizing emerging leaders for the environment. TerraCorps cultivates an ecosystem of people and organizations that center community land ownership, access, and stewardship to support a diversity of interests that benefit human health and environmental sustainability.
Members will serve in full-time positions (38 hour/week) from August 28, 2023 – July 26, 2024. These 1,700-hour AmeriCorps positions receive a living allowance ($1,066.68 biweekly / $26,667 full service term) and are eligible for health insurance coverage, childcare assistance, a $6,895 education award, federal loan forbearance, and other AmeriCorps benefits. Required AmeriCorps Qualifications for All Positions:
A US citizen, US national, or Lawful Permanent Resident Alien of the U.S.
At least 18 years old
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED
Pass a criminal history background check, including an FBI check
