Environmental Educator

The Ipswich River Watershed Association (IRWA) seeks a self-directed, enthusiastic Environmental Educator who will manage the development, implementation, scheduling, and running of primarily in-person education programs for youth and adults focused on water conservation, climate change, watershed awareness, wildlife, water quality, wastewater treatment, storm drain pollution, and other issues that support IRWA’s mission.

The full-time educator position is a new one for Ipswich River Watershed Association, and we are excited to expand our educational capacity. The educator will be responsible for managing IRWA’s existing education programs, expanding the reach of those programs, and envisioning and implementing new and improved educational offerings. This position is based out of IRWA’s Ipswich, MA headquarters but will require travel to other sites throughout the North Shore. The educator will report to the Planning and Resiliency Program Manager.
