The Mystic River Watershed Association (MRWA) is seeking up to (6) part-time Community Educators to support a fast-growing education program that engages over 30 K-8 schools and a variety of youth groups each year across 21 municipalities. Community educators will primarily facilitate small group activities during school programs, with most work occurring annually during the spring semester from January to June. Curriculum development and other community outreach opportunities will be ongoing throughout the summer and fall semesters during the remainder of the year, if educators wish to participate.
This is a contract-based paid volunteer position with MyRWA with an annual stipend of $2,000. The position allows for flexibility to work virtually, as well as independently outside of scheduled program times and normal business hours.
Please complete the online application linked above by September 21st to share your interest in this position. Feel free to email Watershed Educator Natalia Bayona at Natalia.Bayona@mysticriver.org with any questions you may have about the application or position expectations.
We thank you for your time and look forward to working with you!
