Mass Audubon is seeking a Climate Change Education Manager
The Climate Change Education Manager commits the majority of their time coordinating, overseeing, and evaluating two signature youth climate action programs—Mass Audubon’s Youth Climate Leadership Program, and College Climate Action Advocates. These programs are centrally managed while operating in regions across the state of Massachusetts. The Climate Change Education Manager serves as one of the organizational subject matter experts on climate change education and participates in regional and national initiatives that aim to increase climate literacy for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. The Climate Change Education Manager brings expertise and knowledge of best practices in climate change education and civic engagement to the signature programs they manage as well as Mass Audubon’s suite of climate change education programs and initiatives, serving in a consultant role for colleagues in adult learning, K-12 schools, out-of-school time, and self-guided visitor experiences. The Climate Change Education Manager also takes on the responsibility of staying informed and maintaining a strong understanding of Mass Audubon’s legislative priorities related to climate change action and working with the Policy and Advocacy Team to ensure effective communication and integration of advocacy priorities into climate change education programs.
