The Natick Community Organic Farm, a nonprofit, certified-organic farm and home to the Forest Gnomes Waldkindergarten program, seeks to hire an outdoor enthusiast who is passionate about sharing his/her love for nature with children ages 3 to 6. The Forest Gnomes program focuses on nature immersion and the social, emotional and physical development of the child. Whatever the weather, the Forest Gnomes spend approximately 90% of the day outdoors and in this setting teachers are meant to assist and model rather than instruct.
This is a part-time position for approximately 26 hours per week (Mon through Thurs) from September through mid-June, with potential for teaching hours in the Farm’s summer programs. The staff for the Forest Gnomes Waldkindergarten program consists of two teachers and one intern, and reports to the Assistant Director of the Farm.

Pay rate: $16 per hour
