Capron Park Zoo

Capron Zoo is an 8-acre zoo within a 60-acre park that is an accredited AZA institution. The animal collection includes animals from Africa, Asia, and North America, and features an Asian rainforest exhibit. Educational programs focus on conservation and include family programs, public programs, outreach, teacher training workshops, and offerings for pre-schoolers. Programs may feature hands-on activities, live animals, and suggested follow-up activities. The Education Department also offers assistance with integrating conservation education into curricula.
