Massachusetts Association of Science Teachers (MAST) is a representative organization for science teachers on both national and state policies concerning science education. Members support the organization by striving to maintain high standards in the teaching profession and are provided with the opportunity to exchange ideas with educators from academic levels other than their own. MAST aids science education through its publications, workshops and in service meetings at local and regional levels. MAST keeps its members informed of current issues and trends in science education through its publications. Members are also notified of local, regional, and in service meetings that are available at no charge or at a discount.
