Boston Green Team

City Year Boston is a non-profit organization committed to bettering the lives of inner city youth. The Green Team teaches environmental curriculum in classrooms in the Boston Public Schools, while at the same time partnering with state and local agencies such as the Executive Office of Environmental Affairs, the Boston Schoolyard Initiative, D.E.M., Hull Lifesaving Museum, and Appalachian Mountain Club. The Green Team helps children obtain and appreciate a sense of place within their local built and natural community and as part of the greater global environment
