Forests and Parks on Wheels, Too! (DCR)

Observe trees using both touch and vision. Observe trees at different stages in their lives. Look carefully for examples of seedling, sapling, mature, and dying trees. Are “dead” trees really dead? Forest Ecology Program: Discussion, exploration and simulation activities will help students see for themselves that forests are much more than trees, and there’s more to trees than bark and leaves.
