The Forest Service is proud to be a lead partner for
BatsLIVE: A Distance Learning Adventure. BatsLIVE is an engaging, comprehensive education program that provides a wide variety of
free, online resources and opportunities for you to learn more
about bats, and teach more about bats! Supported by a broad coalition of
partners, BatsLIVE will present teacher webinars, and a live broadcast
for children and their educators in April and

7-8:30 p.m. ET – Bat Education in the Classroom and Field – experts will provide educators with lessons and activities to use in the classroom and in the field. Presenters include:
Rob Mies, founder and executive director of the Organization for Bat Conservation, and
Dennis Krusac, endangered species specialist with the USDA Forest Service-Region 8.
