Board Members: Louise Beaudry (lbeaudry) Vice-president Emily Carreiro (ecarreiro) President Emily is a Camp Director at the South Shore Natural Science Center in Norwell, MA Alexander Dunn (adunn) Alexander Dunn is an educator, bird watcher, and writer fascinated by the intersections of place, people, nature, and culture. Alex currently works in Museum education and business development at the EcoTarium in Worcester, MA as well as a Natural History Guide with the Mass Audubon at Broad Meadow Brook. With a specialization in place-based education and community programming he serves on numerous boards and teaches bird watching to school age students and adults. Ann Gisinger (agisinger) Clerk I recently began working at the Environmental Business Council of New England after many years of seasonal EE work. I enjoy the great outdoors, exploring New England (and someday, the world), and taking advantage of our fair City of Boston. Amy Hoffmaster (ahoffmaster) President Amy is Program Design Manager at Citizen Schools, and recently completed her Master's degree in Tehnology, Innovation and Education Program at Harvard Graduate School of Education where she studied new technologies for science and environmental education. Lisa Levine (lbates) Lisa is a Museum Educator and Camp Director at the EcoTarium in Worcester, Massachusetts where she has worked happily for the past six years. Cynthia Menard (cmenard) NEEEA Liason Cynthia has her M.S. in Conservation Biology from Antioch University New England, and has worked in the environmental and experiential education fields for over a decade. She works as an independent naturalist through her business, Withywindle Nature Programs. Her outdoor passions include hiking, tracking, birding and paddling. Kathryn Parent (rootswings) Treasurer|*|Jobs Editor Kathryn has been providing educational services in various scenarios for over 15 years, focusing on hands on nature study. She currently works for the Dept. of Conservation and Recreation, as Visitor Services Supervisor at Blackstone River & Canal Heritage State Park. Jessica Parsons (jparsons) Nicole Scola (nscola) Conference registrar Nicole Scola has been working at the New England Aquarium for the last six years. She is currently the Supervisor of Teacher Services. Beth Short (bshort) Website coordinator|*|Calendar editor Beth Short is Associate Director of Nature’s Classroom Inc. Her work is focused on building relationships between schools and Nature’s Classroom program centers. She has been developing and sharing environmental education programming with children and adults for 9 years, specializing in inquiry-based nature education.
