MEES 2013: Strengthening Communities: Branching Out, Reaching In
Wednesday, March 6th, 2013
For more than 30 years, the MEES Conference has attracted participants with its innovative workshops, networking opportunities, informative exhibits, pleasant atmosphere, and excellent cuisine. The MEES Conference draws a diverse audience including classroom teachers from pre-school through college, museum staff, nature center staff, administrators, and community resource leaders. Join your fellow environmental educators and all who are dedicated to providing experiences that educate, excite, and commit all generations to conserve the environment and become responsible stewards.
Workshops will share ideas for building stronger relationships in environmental education and provide tools that can be used to promote connections to community resources and alignment to curriculum. Presenters share success stories, standout lessons and programs and practices that keep environmental education fresh and timely and inspire students and educators alike. We know this community is innovative and has a wealth of information and tools—share a success story about strengthening a program, partnership, or community connection and encourage others to apply this learning to their own practice!
2013 Conference Brochure and Registration will be available soon!
