Betsey teaches 6th grade science at the South Middle School in Braintree, MA. She is the President Elect of the Massachusetts Association of Science Teachers.

 The South Shore Charter Public School in Norwell is the only Massachusetts school to be selected America's Greenest Schoolas one of 10 nationwide finalists competing for the title of "America's Greenest School."
