Join Mass Audubon’s Boston Nature Center for the Growing Up Wild Professional Development. Growing Up Wild is an early childhood activity guide (ages 3-7) that fosters a child’s sense of wonder through nature and invites them to explore wildlife and the world around them. Participants will learn nature based activities that can be used in the classroom and in environmental education settings. Through a wide range of activities and experiences it provides foundations for developing positive impressions about nature while building lifelong social and cognitive skills. Workshop participants will receive a copy of the guide and certification of completion. Growing Up Wild is correlated to the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Standards and the Head Start Domains.
